Gearing down for the holidays

With all the shifting and moving it seems our 3D printer has loosened up to just the right point to start printing at the lowest layer/highest resolution, in addition since the addition of an ugly cardboard box to the exterior or the machine to deal with the fluctuation of thermal dynamics (cool wind blowing) the shrinkage problems have reduced as well.

So, even though this does dramatically decrease the visual appearance of the bot, it has dramatically improved the quality of the prints it can produce;

N.B.

  • The entire angel is hollow and the sides are around the same thickness as the wings.
  • This was also only printed due to the design itself, and has no relation to any sort of religious or philosophical views.
