Yet another 3D printing application that blows ours minds. Virginia Tech has just installed the DreamVendor – “an interactive 3D printing station” for students to fabricate prototypes for their design projects.
The station contains four MakerBot Thing-O-Matics. Students just need to save a design onto an SD card, insert it in the slot, then watch it being printed out before their eyes. Very cool.
